I am an Instagram addict, if such a thing exists! I love the tiny little square pictures and comments that let me take a peek at other people’s homes and lives. I follow over 250 individuals and small businesses on Instagram, the majority of whom I have never met and who live all over the country.

I don’t know how you guys feel about American-made products and small businesses, but I’m a fan. I don’t always shop American Made, but I really should. I am abundantly proud of the creative minds that make their living designing beautiful things and I wanted to take a moment to share my favorites. Some of these companies I own products from, others we sell in the shop I work in, and some I only drool over on Instagram. In any case, I hope you enjoy seeing what they create. BrimPapery- An Ohio based lettering master who makes beautiful prints for your home. I gave this Jen Hatmaker print to my sister as a gift when she had her little girl because seriously, how precious is this? Find her on Etsy (photo is hers)

 

Mason Bar Co.- Super simple product idea for turning Mason Jars into traveling tumblers. I have their Mint top because I can never have too much mint! Super cute packaging and they often offer deals and promos on their Instagram account. Check out their Website and Etsy for other fun products.

 

 

Bean & Bailey– This CHATTANOOGA BASED slip-cast ceramic studio is awesome! I love seeing their products at work and have given a few of their hanging planters as gifts (I also own a few of their bowls)! They just started selling one of their planters on Anthropologie.com, which I’m sure is so great for their business, though I kinda wish they had stayed our little Chattanooga secret. No, but seriously, how does Anthro find ALL the good stuff? Can I have that job??

 

Farmhouse Pottery- LOVE LOVE LOVE this Insta feed. It makes me want to move back north! (Until I remember the 5 straight months of depressing cold and dirty snow #realitycheck #hashtagsdontworkhere) Farmhouse Pottery is based in Vermont and they create beautiful pottery pieces for your home. Pitchers, bowls, jars, and even rolling pins that are pretty AND practical. Win Win. I do not yet own their pottery, but I do sell their stuff at work. Find them here

 

 

GreenTree Home Candles– A sweet beeswax candle company based in my home state of NY! I paired my white and blue taper candles with a collection of candle holders from Anthro, but they have many others colors and shapes. We sell these at the shop I work at if you’re local and looking for candles! Lines Orchids @ Warehouse Row.

 

Chalk Full of Love- Texas-based letterer who adds her lettering to mugs, tumblers, bags, and as individual prints. Find her on Etsy, and follow all her cute pictures on Instagram. I love this quote in my kitchen as a daily reminder.

 

Kortni Jean– I can’t get enough of this super cute (kinda retro) swimwear. Kortni is always adding new colors/patterns but sells out QUICK. Not only fun and colorful, I love that the suits are modest, especially in a world of itsy-bitsy-string-bikinis. I’m thankful there are other fun (handmade!) options out there.

 

 

 

Oatmeal Lace– If I had a logo worth embroidering, I would be all over one of these cute, custom aprons! This Etsy shop owner also custom designs clutches that would be the perfect bridesmaid gift in your wedding colors. LOVE!

 

 

Dear Mushka– Super cute, handmade jewelry, this Nashville based designer keeps it simple and lovely. I own the large  hexagon necklace below, but her picture is way cuter!

 

 

1Canoe2– This letterpress company designs everything from greeting cards to kitchen accessories. I love these tea towels Daniel gave me for Christmas a few years ago. The “Make a Pie” towel has a great crust recipe right on it that I use on a regular basis. How handy is that? I love following owner, Beth Snyder, on Instagram and seeing all her lovely paintings.
