My older sister, Jessica, is expecting her first child in September! The weekend before last I put together a baby shower brunch out on the patio at my Mom’s house. The day was threatening rain, but it managed to stay (mostly) dry and we had a lovely time! I asked a friend to come and take some nice pictures of the shower, since I knew that wasn’t really my forte. Enjoy!
I painted the mason jar centerpieces with acrylic craft paint I had laying around. Sorry, no tutorial, but it was pretty straightforward. I was surprised that the all purpose acrylic worked on glass!
I found the pink chevron wooden spoons for the parfaits on Etsy.
The pink and mint straws were from Amazon!
The cupcake toppers were another Etsy find. You can find everything there!
This ribbon banner was probably my favorite decoration. It was super simple to make, I just knotted strands of ribbon on a strand of twine, but it was so pretty and girly!
The milk bottle drinking glasses are from a site called Favor Warehouse. Please ignore my wrinkled dress!
These paper plates are from a darling little party supply shop/blog. TomKat Studio was recently featured in the June edition of Better Homes and Gardens, which is how I found them. They have the cutest stuff!
I love this picture of my little sis. She’s seriously SO photogenic!
I had so much fun planning this party for my sister! I am helping with another shower this weekend for the lovely Meredith. I will do my best to take some nice pictures and share that one with you as well!
