The Magic of Paint (+wallpaper)

We are finally making some exciting improvements to the trailer! For months Daniel had been working on repairing the floors, running the electrical  wires and replacing all of the wall and ceiling panels. And now the fun begins! While Daniel was away this past weekend, I tackled the priming and painting. I decided to just go with white for most of the trailer interior and add wallpaper as a fun accent above the bed. My Mo is the wallpaper genius and she helped me with the accent wall yesterday. I am so happy with how it looks and about this major progress! Next up will be prepping the floors for laminate and building furniture!

We didn’t wallpaper all the way to the floor because we will be building the bed here and that section ill be covered anyway. Clearly the floors need some work.

We plan to build a futon-style bed that will also be our seating area during the day.

Here is the rest of the trailer, looking very white and boring. I can’t wait to build in some cabinets and add some color.

Here on the right below the double windows will be our dining area.

Loving how bright it is with the white paint!

I bought some thick white cotton rope to cover the edge between the painted wall and the wallpaper. Since this is the end of the trailer with the rounded roof, we can’t install straight edge molding here.

Thanks for following along on our trailer renovation!
